The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office was notified at 12:47 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, about a victim who was deceased at 1846 Remount Road in Hanahan.
The victim has been positively identified as Demietrese Evans, 24, of North Charleston.
Autopsy results revealed Evans died from injuries sustained from a gunshot.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Hanahan Police Department are investigating this case as a homicide.
