Cane Bay’s 7-on-7 passing days for high school football teams returns this month.
Every Thursday morning in June, the Cobras will host around eight to 12 squads for two hours of 7-on-7 competition. Start is tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m. but could be moved up depending on projected temperatures.
The first group of the summer meeting at CBHS is Cane Bay, Goose Creek, Stratford, Philip Simmons, Berkeley, Bishop England, Woodland and Cross.
“The Kona Ice truck will be there too,” Cane Bay football coach Russell Zehr said.
Football fans are encouraged to attend the free contests. Each squad will play four or five games a day.
In subsequent weeks, West Ashley, James Island, Wando, Hanahan, Timberland, Andrews, Waccamaw and Summerville are expected to participate.
