Beidler Forest to offer summer camp

Beidler Forest Audubon Center and Sanctuary is hosting summer camps for students this year.

There will be three camps for children 7-12 years old, called Swamp Camp.

There will also be an advanced camp for students 13-16. Each of the camp sessions will be a week long.

The theme of this years camp is “Invertebrates Expedition.”

Students will spend the week discovering all of the different invertebrates that call Beidler Forest home.

Each camp will meet 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

The cost is $125 for swamp camp and $100 for advanced camp.

The dates for each camp are as follows:

Session I, June 10-14

Session II, June 17-21

Session III, July 8-12

Advanced Swamp Camp, June 24 — 26
