BCSD approves competency-based curriculum to keep students from falling behind

The Berkeley County School Board voted to approve the funding for the welding labs that will be installed at Cross High School and Timberland High School.

The labs will be designed, provided and installed by the company AirGas USA, LLC.

The project will cost $503,141.92 and the money will be fully funded by W International. The board members said that none of the money will come from the school district’s budget.
