Students explore frequency and light

Teacher Jasmine Saab works with her fourth-grade students on a frequency and light lesson.

Hot off the “wires!” Students in Jasmine Saab’s fourth-grade class had a fun and informative time as they made their way through science lab rotations learning about light waves and frequencies.

Some of the stations included an “Ozabot” activity measuring light wave frequencies; a refraction activity, where students used mirrors that reflected secret messages; and the ever popular “old school whispers” activity, where students whispered through cones transmitting their voices through yarn.
