The St. Stephen United Methodist Church, 183 Hood St., has created a Blessing Box for anyone in need.
This is a wonderful idea with much needed support from the community.
The Blessing Box is in the front yard of the church. Any non-perishable foods or items can be donated, such as, canned foods with ring-pulls, sealed crackers or snacks, bottled water, socks, toilet tissue, hand soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby wipes and any toiletries.
Some take things that they don’t really need, but that should not stop us from helping those who are truly in need.
Our community has a large number of people living in poor conditions who will benefit from our donations.
With support from everybody, this small blessing box can become a bigger box. Let us support this mission sponsored by the St. Stephen UMC. For more information, call 843-567-3738.
