HOOD: Churches help make Christmas Better for Children

A group of 25 volunteers from the local area helped pack nearly 300 Gospel Opportunity Boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Victory Baptist Church’s Shoe box Ministry has continued to grow year after year, this year packing 291 Gospel Opportunity Boxes for Operation Christmas Child. This is another way for the Macedonia and all the community to reach out beyond their walls and beyond their border’s to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

They also help educate and get all the community involved through a kick-off event where the community, Changed Lives Ministry and Hannah House, came together to pack shoe boxes earlier this year. To wrap up OCC season they will head up a trip to the Charlotte processing center to serve side by side with people from all over the United States putting their hands and feet to work for this ministry and the work of the Kingdom.

This year, a group of 25 volunteers from various churches in Macedonia traveled together to serve OCC by processing shoe boxes to go to children and families in various countries. Impacting children, families, communities across the world one GO Box at a time. For more information contact Victory Baptist at 843-565-4900.
