Congratulations to Cpl. Cody Gooch on his most recent award. Gooch was recently selected to receive The American Legion, Department of South Carolina 2019 Bravery Award. The award was presented during the Department Convention Awards Luncheon in Columbia on Fri. May 31. Cpl. Gooch was shot in the line of duty in March of 2018 in the St. Stephen area of Berkeley County while responding to a domestic assault call. We are truly grateful that Cpl. Gooch continues to protect and serve the Berkeley County community.

St. Stephen Town Wide Clean-Up

The town of St. Stephen has scheduled a community clean-up day to begin at 9 a.m. and end at 11 a.m. on Sat. June 22. Everybody will meet at the pavilion in the Alice Price Park, 113 Ravenell Drive. Thank-You in advance for the help needed to keep our town beautiful. This event will be hosted by the town of St. Stephen. St. Stephen UMC Blessing Box

The St. Stephen United Methodist Church, 183 Hood Street has created a Blessing Box for any people in need. This is a wonderful idea with much needed support from the community. The Blessing Box is located in the front yard of the church. With support from everybody, this small blessing box can become a bigger box.
