The Day Dawn Baptist Church family will hold its annual Community Breakfast Program, 9 a.m., Dec. 11, in the church fellowship hall, 2057 Highway 45, Pineville. The program, named in honor of its founder, Omega Jefferson, provides an opportunity for the church family to share with others of the community, a special Christmas Program, followed with a delicious breakfast and fellowship opportunities.

The speaker for the program is Sister Constance Wilburn, of Jerusalem United Methodist Church of Cross. Sister Catherine Gourdine is the program’s Mistress of Ceremonies.

The program is sponsored annually by the Pastor, Rev. Joshua Prioleau and Church officers, and is facilitated by the Adult Missionary Organization. Sister Hazel Crawford and Sister Brenda Johnson and the planners and decorators. Community members are invited to attend.The Charleston Caroling Company will perform Christmas Music at 7 p.m., on Dec. 14, at Saint Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 1404 Old Highway 52 South ion Moncks Corner. Parishioners are asked to bring a dish to share for a potluck after the concert. The concert is free, and donations are accepted.

Keeping in Prayer

Special prayers are requested for the recovery of health for Gwendolyn Wigfall Crosby of Atlanta.

Crosby is he daughter of Edna Wigfall and the late Ernest Wigfall, formerly of the Eadytown section of Pineville.


Expressions of sympathy are sent to the family of the late Cephas Addison of St. Stephen, on his passing.
