Music festival to support typhoon victims

On Nov. 8, 2013, the Philippines were devastated by a monster typhoon. Local musician Tommy Gielingh had friends on the islands who perished. His passion for humanity and pain of losing loved ones prompted him to write “The Song for the Philippines.” More than 100 local Charleston musicians gathered together to record the song last year.
