Mable Brown

Mable Barnes Brown of Hartsville died April 24. She was 86.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James L. Brown; her son and caregiver Robert Brown of Hartsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Deborah H. Brown; a daughter and son-in-law, Anne Brown and Beau Smith; and two grandchildren, Dorian Brown and Julian Smith, all of Atlanta.

Mrs. Brown was predeceased by a sister, Reba Cook, and two brothers, Malcolm Barnes and Liston Barnes.

Born May 1, 1921, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of Robert Dudley Barnes and Carolyn Eliot Barnes of Rhems. She attended the University of South Carolina.
