Harry J. Davies Jr.

Harry John Davies, Jr. of Moncks Corner, a retired Vice President of IAC, died Friday, March 14. He was 71.

Memorial services were held March 16, at the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home. Steve Mims and Foster Smith officiated.

Memorials may be made to the Moncks Corner United Methodist Church, 200 N. Live Oak Dr., Moncks Corner, SC 29461.

Born June 15, 1936, in Hazleton, PA, Mr. Davies was a son of Harry J. Davies Sr., and Hannah Spencer Davies. He was the former plant manager for Millennium Metal Fabricators and was a member of the Moncks Corner United Methodist Church. He was a licensed real estate agent for Prudential Reality and a licensed appraiser.  Mr. Davies was currently serving as a consultant for Vital Link and Swanda Brothers.

Surviving are, his wife, Ree Driggers Myers Davies; two daughters, Kathy Klose of Laytonsville, MD, and Richley Myers of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, Harry Davies of Mountain Top, PA, and John Davies of Moncks Corner; and three grandchildren, Hannah Davies, Matthew Leach, and Alyssa Davies.
