William Cleveland

William "Billy" Cleveland of St. Stephen, died March 30.  Funeral services were held April 5, 2008 at Christ Revival Center with Apostle Bishop Allen Bryant officiating.  Burial, directed by Gethers Funeral Home, Inc., was in Zion-Mack Cemetery.

Born on July 31, 1937 in Berkeley County, Mr. Cleveland was a son of John Cleveland and Suzanna Carr Cleveland. He was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, George Cleveland and Samuel Cleveland.

Survivors include a brother, John (Retha) Cleveland of St. Stephen; four sisters, Lorraine (Johnny) Kennerly of Ladson, Sarah (James) Bryant of Moncks Corner, Emmaline (Phillip) Mayes and Ruthie Haynes, both of St. Stephen; a sister-in-law, Margo Cleveland of Durham, NC; two aunts, Celia McClennon of St. Augustine, FL and Mary McBride of Baltimore, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
