David Malachia Barnett, 74, of Frisco, NC passed away Monday, March 31, 2008 in Outer Banks Hospital.
Mr. Barnett was born in Buxton, NC, the son of the late Thomas and Martha Swain Barnett. "Dave" as he was known, was a country music recording artist and song writer with Cash Records.
The funeral service for Ms. Tangela Stacy "Bunny McBride-Archie was held on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 3 pm at Greater Bethel AME Church Kingstree, SC.
Rev. Alonzo Middleton pastor, Brother Fulton Smith of The Church of Christ Lake City, SC; will conduct the religious service.
Mable Barnes Brown of Hartsville died April 24. She was 86.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James L. Brown; her son and caregiver Robert Brown of Hartsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Deborah H. Brown; a daughter and son-in-law, Anne Brown and Beau Smith; and two grandchildren, Dorian Brown and Julian Smith, all of Atlanta.
William L. “Bill” Goshorn, 87, of Summerville, husband of Edna Murray Goshorn, died Tuesday, April 29.
Funeral services were held May 2 at Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville, with burial at Summerville Cemetery.
William Francis Panos of Moncks Corner, husband of Wanda Panos, died Thursday, May 1. He was 65.
Born Sept. 15, 1942 in Cresco, IA, he was the son of William Charles Panos and Alice Cecelia Bouska Panos. Mr. Panos entered the Navy in 1962; he retired in 1983 from his last duty station, Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity in Charleston after 21 years of service. He was the past president of the Pimlico Community Club and was active in youth sports.  He coached footfall and baseball and also was a referee.      
David Keith Bratcher passed away at a local hospital on Tuesday, April 22.
David was born on Feb. 23, 1960 in Bainbridge, MD the son of William David Bratcher and Shirley Rollins Bratcher. David was pre-deceased by his father.  
Baby Isiah Makie Emerson of Moncks Corner was born and died on April 18, 2008 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  
Funeral services were held April 22 at the O. Allen Gethers Jr. Memorial Chapel in Moncks Corner, with Bishop Marlon J. Gibbs officiating.  Burial, directed by Gethers Funeral Home Inc., was in Westview Cemetery.
Ray, Billy Louis, age 74, a resident of Summerville, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008. He is survived by his wife Louise, Summerville, SC, and six children; Ron Ray, of Memphis, TN; Robert Ray, of Hanahan, SC; Cherie Williams, Kay Holcombe, Mark Ray of Summerville, SC and William Ray of Fayetteville, PA. He was also the proud grandfather of twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Billy Ray was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired after 23 years of service. In lieu of flowers, donation are asked to be given to a cancer foundation of your choice.
Andrew “Andy” James DeHay of Tybee Island, Ga., died Thursday, April 10. He was 66.
Born in Columbia,  he was a son of the late Andrew Kurton DeHay and Julia Myers DeHay. He was of the Baptist faith and was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Elijah Herbert Lee Rollerson of St. Stephen died April 2.  
Services were held April 11 at Good Shepherd Reformed Episcopal Church in Bonneau, with the Rev. Don L. Shaw and the Rev. Dr. Julius Barnes officiating.  Burial, directed by Gethers Funeral Home, was at the church cemetery.
Loka Haselden Bunch, of Shulerville, wife of the late Marvin Claude Bunch, died Sunday afternoon, March 30. She was 92.
Services were held April 3 at Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church in Shulerville. The Rev. David Grooms, the Rev. Donald Fort, and the Rev. Gretta Bridges officiated. Interment followed at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Winyah Hospice, 4055 Faber Place Dr., Ste. 212, N. Charleston, SC 29405.
Rodney "Rod" Thomas Cannington, 30, of Moncks Corner, died on March 21, 2008.
 His funeral service was held  at 11:00a.m. on March 24, 2008,  at Pinopolis United Methodist Church,directed by Russell Funeral Chapel, Moncks Corner. Burial was at St. John's Baptist Cemetery.
William "Billy" Cleveland of St. Stephen, died March 30.  Funeral services were held April 5, 2008 at Christ Revival Center with Apostle Bishop Allen Bryant officiating.  Burial, directed by Gethers Funeral Home, Inc., was in Zion-Mack Cemetery.
Born on July 31, 1937 in Berkeley County, Mr. Cleveland was a son of John Cleveland and Suzanna Carr Cleveland. He was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County.
Doris Jane Crump of New York, formerly of St. Stephen, died March 29.  
Services were held April 9 at St. Stephen Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey Mack Jr. officiating.  Burial, directed by Gethers Funeral Home Inc., was in St. Paul Memorial Cemetery.
Harry John Davies, Jr. of Moncks Corner, a retired Vice President of IAC, died Friday, March 14. He was 71.
Memorial services were held March 16, at the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home. Steve Mims and Foster Smith officiated.
