John W. Lee of Ladson, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009. He was 46.

Mr. Lee was born Dec. 17, 1962 in Bedford, England. He was a son of Kenneth Eugene Lee Sr. and Christina Janet Caves Lee. He attended Berkeley High School and retired as a truck driver for Cooper River Construction in Moncks Corner. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. His favorite pastime was spending time with his children and his new granddaughter.

Surviving in addition to this mother are a daughter, Megan Lee; two sons, Nicholas Brumfield and Bradley Lee; a granddaughter, Skylar Kendall; three sisters, Teresa Lee-Strickland, Linda Jackson and Joanna Singley; three brothers, Jimmy Lee, Kenny Lee and Frankie Lee; and 11 nieces and nephews.

Services were held Nov. 20 at Russell Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Riverview Memorial Park in Charleston.
