Tickets include cocktails and heavy hors d'oevres. Tickets are $75 per person through Medical Outreach Board Members, at Guerin’s Pharmacy on Little Main in Historic Downtown Summerville and at Photographik,100 Old Trolley Road.
• Through New Year’s Day enjoy the Lakeside Light Display at The Goose Creek Recreation Department as it kicks off its first “Goose Creek Christmas.” Enjoy the lakeside light display through Jan. 1, 6-10 p.m. behind the Municipal Center in Goose Creek
• Through New Year’s Even join the Polar Express 4-D showing at the South Carolina Aquarium. When a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.
