Additional charges filed in double murder

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office has filed additional charges against the two suspects already charged with murder in the deaths of Dana Woods and June Guerry, according to information released Friday afternoon.
Ray Chavis, 23, of Cordesville, has been charged with one count of armed robbery and two counts of possession a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Caleb Matlock, 23, of Summerville, is charged with one count of armed robbery, two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and arson third degree.
The two suspects were arrested Sept. 1 and were denied bond at a hearing on Sept. 2. They are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner. Their next court appearance is scheduled for November.
