Ciochetti elected to credit union board

Santee Cooper Credit Union President and CEO Melynda Ciochetti was elected to the South Carolina Credit Union League Board of Directors at the April 19 business session of league’s annual meeting in Myrtle Beach.

Ciochetti became president/CEO of Santee Cooper Credit Union in 1997. Prior to joining Santee Cooper CU, she was marketing director for Carolina Trust FCU in Myrtle Beach and worked at S.C. Telco FCU (Greenville). She has served on the SCCUL Marketing Subcommittee since 1994.

Ciochetti completed the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program in 2006, has served on the marketing committee for the Greater Grand Strand Area, is current treasurer for Carolina Low Country Girl Scout Troop #410; and is an active member of Kiwanis.

Ciochetti is a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pinopolis
