Kari Ferguson, the son of Bernard and Jackie Ferguson, was recently promoted to Chief in the United States Navy.
Ferguson is a graduate of Cross High School. He has completed two tours in Iraq, and has been stationed in Guam and Cuba since enlisting in the Navy.
Ferguson has a daughter, Aubri, and is the sibling of Sgt. Tiffany Ferguson of the U.S. Army, and Benedict College senior Corey Ferguson.
His grandparents are Barbara Dilligard of Charleston, and Samuel and Nancy Ferguson of Cross.
