Oak Hill Plantation says thanks

The following letter was sent to Moncks Corner Mayor William Peagler:

Dear Mayor Peagler:

We would like to inform you that for the most part the homeowners of Oak Hill Plantation are glad that we are now part of the town of Moncks Corner. The HOA board would like to especially show our appreciation to a few individuals:

• Sgt. Rick Crouse for his assistance during our campaign to become part of the town. He has continued to show outstanding support, and is someone we can depend on.

• Marc Hehn and Layne West for providing the guidance needed to become part of the town. They have responded to numerous inquiries from us in a professional manner and continue to assist us.

I am sure there are plenty of other folks behind the scenes who deserve recognition. The town has welcomed us with open arms and this has made the transition move positive. Trying to appease 211 homeowners is not an easy task, but the folks in town hall have made that transition seem transparent for the most part.

Our board of directors are volunteers and on numerous occasions we depend on the experts for the answers. For the most part, town officials have provided answers in a timely fashion. We appreciate their support.

Please pass on our thanks to all the folks who have been supporting us, and we hope to be able to continue to work as a team.

Stephen Myers

Board President, Oak Hill Plantation HOA
