Christmas in St. Stephen promises fun for all
The Town of St. Stephen invites you to enjoy a nighttime Christmas Parade on Dec. 4.
The parade line up is 6:30 p.m. on Brick Church Circle and Mendel Rivers Road. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The lighting of the town Christmas tree and all trees on the walk will be after the parade, in the Alice Price Park. The Christmas Tree Walk can be enjoyed from Dec. 4 until Jan. 1, 2010.
For more information, call 567-3597.
Health Clinic
The Sumpter Free Health Clinic, 1936 on Highway 35 in St. Stephen, opened its doors to the public on Dec. 1.
Volunteers are needed, if anyone is interested in helping at the clinic. Seeds for a free health clinic were planted years ago, but planning became serious in March of 2008. The clinic will be open the first three Tuesdays of each month, from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
All residents of Berkeley County and the surrounding area are welcome. For more information, call Shirley Dingle at 567-4486.
