Providence Ladies Fall Banquet set for Nov. 21
The ladies at Providence Baptist Church will have their Fall Banquet on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m.
Special guests will be Kristi Mitchum and Amy Campbell. There will be door prizes and raffles. Babysitting will be provided.
The dinner menu will include Regency roast beef, sautéed mushrooms and onions, potatoes supreme, green beans and apple-carrot and lemon glazed pound cake.Tickets are $13; call the church at 565-3945 for more information.
Prayer Meeting
The quarterly prayer meeting and Thanksgiving Social will be hosted by Hood's Chapel UM Church on Thursday, Nov. 19. It will begin at 7 p.m. with the prayer meeting and then follow with social time in the fellowship hall.
There will be lots of finger foods and delicious deserts.
Pastor Tanner of Hood's Chapel will lead the prayer service and several pastors from other community churches will also be speaking.
