The Rev. Barbara Chisolm and the Jehovah AME Church family celebrated the victorious journey of another year with a Church Anniversary Celebration and Mortgage Burning Service June 14.

The liberation of all church assets has taken place. The theme for the June 14 event was “Reflecting upon the past as we move into the future.”

The Rev. Chisolm preached during the morning worship, and the guest speaker for the afternoon celebration was the Rev. Dr. Allen W. Parrott, the Presiding Elder of the Kingstree District.
