Acting on a search warrant to locate a Moncks Corner man accused on committing forgery linked to a stolen mail case. Berkeley County police arrested David Benjamin Driggers at a South Live Oak Drive residence on July 26.

According to police, the suspect's vehicle contained 200 pieces of U.S. mail and multiple personal and business checks with a combined value over $200,000.

Upon being brought into custody, Driggers reportedly confessed to his involvement with the federal offense. As a result, the individual in question was charged with four counts of forgery and four charges for the narcotic violations, as drugs were also retrieved from his vehicle.

Driggers is currently facing both state and federal charges.
