Deputies with the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people on methamphetamine charges on Monday, Aug. 18.

BCSO spokesman Dan Moon announced the arrests Monday night.

The suspects were arrested at 512 McCrystal Circle following an investigation into illegal drug activity at that location, Moon reported.

According to Moon, Tiffany N. Steinbrecker, 19, Brandon Lee Varner, 26, and Justin Steven Michael, 26, have all been charged with attempt to manufacture meth, disposal of methamphetamine waste and - because there was an 18-month-old baby in the residence - manufacturing meth in the presents of a minor child.

All three are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center and will face a bond judge on Tuesday, Aug. 19.
