Ridgeville man killed in crash

A 55-year-old Ridgeville man died Sunday in a Berkeley County traffic accident.

According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, 55-year-old Timothy Brian Austin of Ridgeville was travelling west on Fish Road when his sedan ran off the right side of the roadway.

Mr. Austinís vehicle struck several trees and overturned, partially ejecting him, Salisbury said. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead on the scene by Salisbury.

His death has been ruled accidental and was investigated by the Berkeley County Coronerís Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
