  • Thursday, August 14, 2014

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a carjacking in Sangaree, according to reports.

The victim told deputies he was parked outside a residence on Southside Street when two men in a white Cadillac pulled up to his black Honda Prelude at about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim said the Cadillac’s driver got out of his car, pointed a gun at the victim, and told him to get out of the Honda.

The victim said the suspect got in his car and drove away. The passenger that was in the Cadillac drove that car from the scene.

The Honda’s South Carolina tag number is JZI 227. BCSO is asking anyone with information about the case to call 554-1111.
