Junior Explorers hosting blood drive Aug. 11

A blood drive will be hosted by the Macedonia Fire Department Junior Explorers at the Macedonia Fire Department located at 2108 North Hwy 17-A on Monday, Aug. 11 from 2 until 7 p.m.

Invite everyone you know to this event. Ages 16 and up can give, but need a parentís signature if under 18. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact Junior Explorers Randy Cannon Jr. at 826-1959 or Corey Port at 934-9805.

Donations Needed

The Sumpter Free Health Clinic is in need of donations to help patients purchase medication. To donate, checks should be made out to Sumpter Free Health Clinic and mailed to PO Box 340, St. Stephen, SC 29479.

The Sumpter Free Health Clinic is a 501c3 and your donation is tax deductible. A donation of $25 can make a big difference in the life of patients in need.

The staff at the clinic purchases the prescribed medication mostly for infections, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes control.

October Fest

Vendors are needed for the St. Stephen October Festival. If you are interested in an application for vendor or any questions, contact Cindy Wadford at 567-3565.

Farmers Market

The Moncks Corner Farmers Market is now open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Location is on the corner of Gulledge and Heatley Street in Moncks Corner. For more information, call 257-2727.
