Salkehatchie campers repair area homes

  • Thursday, July 17, 2014

Photo Provided Campers come to the area every year to repair area homes.

Moncks Corner United Methodist Church is sponsoring the annual Salkehatchie Camp this week.

The church has hosted the Salkehatchie group for six years. In that time, campers have repaired a total of 24 homes. This year the campers will be repairing five selected homes in Berkeley County.

This work can only be accomplished with the help of local churches, businesses, and donations.
