To those who haven’t lost any items to theft, beware. There seems to be a group of people who are going around the St. Stephen, Alvin and Jamestown area stealing golf carts, four-wheelers and any type of metal from citizens. They are even breaking into and stealing items from locked buildings.
Beware of any strange trucks, especially delivery trucks or people not normally in your neighborhood riding around.
The St. Stephen Community History Room and Café will be open on Thursday, July 10 from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The menu will consist of
chicken bog, green beans, roll, tea and dessert.
The cost of lunch is $7. Dine in or take out plates available.
The community café is located on Bay Street, inside of the St. Stephen History Room, and managed by local volunteers. Support from the public is greatly appreciated.
