One person is dead and four others are wounded after a Tish Lane shooting in the Longridge community of Berkeley County early Saturday morning.
Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury reported that the victim is 19-year-old Ariel Morgan of Moncks Corner.
According to Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dan Moon, the shooting occurred at a block party in the Longridge community near Moncks Corner.
According to Moon, BCSO deputies responded to an address on Tish Lane about 12:30 a.m. Saturday and found five victims at the location with gunshot wounds.
All victims were transported to area hospitals where Ms. Morgan died at 2:45 a.m., Salisbury said.
If anyone who was at the gathering has any information on the shootings, Moon asked that they contact the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office at 843-761-4412.
Salisbury said that the death is under investigation by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the BCSO.
