Pamela Diane Korb Calhoun

Pamela Diane Korb Calhoun of Mt. Pleasant died on Monday, May 26. She was 62.

Born in Columbia on Dec. 27, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Harry Williams Korb, Jr. and Carolyn Campbell Korb. She grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Winyah High School. Mrs. Calhoun attended Erskin College, the University of South Carolina, and Horry Georgetown Technical College. She was a former bank teller and worked for the Berkeley County Coroner’s office for over 10 years.

Mrs. Calhoun lived in Mt. Pleasant for the past 10 years and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Georgetown.

Surviving are: her husband, T. S. Calhoun, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; a step-son, Rev. T. S. “Buddy” Calhoun, III (Diane) of Moncks Corner; a step-daughter, Allison Dennis (Luke) of Moncks Corner; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.

The family received friends on May 29 at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the church or charity of one’s choice.

Clyde Cleveland Jr.

Clyde “CJ” Cleveland Jr. of Pineville died on May 12, 2014. He was 17.

Services were held May 19 at Jehovah United Methodist Church in Pineville. Henryhand Funeral Home was in charge.

Richard L. Crank Jr.

Richard Leon Crank Jr. of West Ashley, a security guard, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at his residence. He was 39.

Surviving are two sons, Logan Crank of Moncks Corner and Ethan Crank of Charleston; his parents, Richard Leon Crank Sr. and T. “Parkie” Young Crank of Moncks Corner; and a sister, Tammy Atkins of Moncks Corner.

Shannon T. Davis

Shannon Leigh Thornsberry Davis of Moncks Corner, died Monday afternoon, May 26, 2014 in a Charleston hospital. She was 37.

Surviving are, her husband, Kevin Scott Davis; her mother, Susan Thornsberry Lipert and stepfather, Ronald, of Moncks Corner; a daughter, Kelsie Cotner of Moncks Corner; a sister, Candy Clinton and her husband, Dennis, of Summerville; and a granddaughter, Emma Lynn Hormel.

Jane M. Koth

Jane Morris Koth of Huger, a retired general sales manager for Charles Towne International Harvester, died Tuesday evening, May 20, 2014 in a Hilton Head hospital. She was 72.

Surviving are a daughter, Kelli D. Mills and her husband, Warren, of Huger; a sister, Irene M. Scott of Bluffton; and two grandchildren, Breanna K. Dupree and Michelle K. Mills.

Aaron Lee Smalls Sr.

Aaron Lee Smalls Sr. of Pineville died on May 12, 2014. He was 79.

Services were held on May 17 at Day Dawn Baptist Church in Pineville. The Rev. John Taylor was the eulogist.

Henryhand Funeral Home was in charge.

Barbara Harris

Barbara Harris, a Witness of Jehovah and Christ Jesus, fell asleep in death on Sept. 14, 2012. She was 78.

She was born on July 2, 1934 in West Virginia. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 close and wonderful years, Alvin Harris, also a Witness of Jehovah. She was a mother of three, Kenneth. Stephen, and Julie.

A memorial was held Sept. 29, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 190 N. 9th St.
