Wrapping up this year’s Relay for Life festivites, the Lower Berkeley Relay for Life group decided to put their best face forward.
The Relay for Life beauty pageant was held at the Marquiette Municipal Court as part of the the Lower Berkeley Relay for Life festivities on May 3.
Ashton Mason was crowned Relay for Life Supreme Queen and Miss Relay for Life at the conclusion of the contest.
Other contest winners were Brett Sexton, who was crowned Teen Miss Relay for Life; Teen Miss Supreme Queen Kayla Hankammer, who raised more than $120; Abby Touron was crowned Junior Miss Supreme queen and Junior Miss Relay for Life, and raised over $200; and Young Miss Relay for Life and Supreme Queen Sydney Duke and Little Miss Relay for Life and Supreme Queen Maggie Jane Westbrook raised over $75.
Zabrianna Heyward was crowned Wee Miss Relay for Life and Auguste Sky Marshall was named Teeny Miss Relay for Life.
Kinlee Thomas was crowned Little Miss Cancer Survivor. Many of the contestants raised money of or in memory of people who have been touched by cancer.
