Kappa Alpha Zeta supports March for Babies

Members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., inclusive of their Adult Auxiliary, joined the March of Dimes’ three-mile Walk for Babies on April 27 in Charleston. Participating were Linda W. Wilson, Sherry Howard and Vernesa Green.

The March of Dimes event, which occurs annually, focuses attention on people with a passion for others and a caring spirit directed at helping to improve the health of babies.

Families, friends and businesses came together to say they care about and love babies, and are willing to do whatever it takes to support the March of Dimes efforts to save and bring into the world, healthy little ones.

“This was truly a challenge for me, as I have a very limited exercise regiment … needless to say, I am still sore,” Vernesa said.

“Linda was in relatively good shape as she uses her treadmill, and Sherry is an exercise fanatic – she was jogging. I was truly impressed.”

Vernesa encourages everyone to get ready for next year’s “March for Babies”, and further encourages us to continue to positively touch lives.

Thanks for the message and Team Kappa Alpha Zeta’s contribution to the March of Dimes’ efforts to save babies.
