Coffee with the Candidates features supervisor candidate Peagler May 14

  • Tuesday, May 6, 2014

Moncks Corner Mayor Bill Peagler will sit down with voters and the Independent 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the Corner Café on Main Street in Moncks Corner for casual conversation and coffee.

It will be the first in a series featuring the county supervisor candidates leading up to the June Republican primary. Moderated by Independent reporter Lindsay Street, Coffee with the Candidates is a free event intended to let candidates and voters get to know each other — no stump speeches or canned questions.

Peagler kicks off the series. His fellow candidates, incumbent Dan Davis and businessman Jerry Beckley, will be featured in the following weeks at the café. Contact Lindsay Street, lstreet@berkeleyind.com or 843-727-5647.
