In search of history
I recently received a very kind request from Ms. Phaidra Glover, who is writing a family history book.
Her grandmother, Anna Glover, was adopted, and her adopted parents were Eliza and Edward Milligan.
She was born in Pineville on Oct. 1, 1920, and grew up in the home of Israel Chisholm.
She, her grandmother, referred to Israel Chisholm, as her ďsecond granddaddy.Ē
She reviewed the Trilogy Column which shared information on the history of Hickory Hill Baptist Church, in the Eadytown Section of Pineville, and read that Israel Chisholm was a Deacon in the Hickory Hill Baptist Church (at its initiation).
She is looking to secure additional information on Israel Chisholm and would be pleased to receive information from the Hickory Hill Church family or anyone with information that may assist her in this very important search.
Phaidra may be reached at: email@example.com.
Please share any information you may have access to with her, or with me, for forwarding.
Itís such an important thing to know oneís genealogy, and Iím hopeful that our readers will be able to provide assistance.
You are thanked in advance for what you are about to do.
