Suzi C. Raiford, the state’s Education Initiatives Director and Regional Career Specialist for the Trident Region announced the good news last week.
“Allyshia’s resume is impressive and her accomplishments are evident of her determination and hard work as a Health Science major,” Raiford said.
Allyshia and her parents have been invited to attend the Technology Champions Award Ceremony in Greenville on June 22 at the South Carolina Education Business Summit. She will represent the Trident Region along with 11 other Technology Champions from other regions of the state.
Allyshia will receive a certificate from the State Department of Education Office of Career and Technology Education and a check for $250 to use toward post-graduate expenses. Allyshia was nominated by Gwen Robinson and Lori Cox.
