Bradley Blake Foundation to host ball

The Bradley Blake Foundation will host its Inaugural Commemoration Ball on May 17 at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge (1320 South Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner).

Congratulations

Baby Lyla Kelly was christened into the body of Christ on April 12 at the Journey Church in Columbia. Present were her parents, Andrew and Chanda Kelly; sisters Leah and Laci Kelly; godmother Trena J. Mack and her children Alexis and Kristin; aunts Keicha Barnes of Columbia and Jemore’ McDowell and her daughter, Joletta of Biscoe, N.C.; and grandparents Jerome and Yvonne Barnes of Pineville.

The beautiful ceremony was well attended by numerous church family members and family friends.

Missionaries in Session

The Lowcountry District Missionaries will conduct their Annual Session at 9 a.m. on April 26 at the Baptist Educational Center (2026 Jacksonville Road in North Charleston).

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the opening of the annual meeting, which is scheduled to begin promptly at 9:30. The first item on the agenda is the election of officers, immediately followed by workshop sessions. At the conclusion of the workshops, lunch will be served.

All auxiliaries, church missionary societies and individuals are asked to register for the session. Each individual is required to pay the $10 registration fee. A registration form has been mailed to all auxiliary presidents for distribution to their members.

The registration fee for an Association is $50, and churches are assessed a $10 registration fee.
