Heritage Trust’s new Moncks Corner Branch Manager is Moncks Corner native Clarence Harwell.

“My staff and I are available to assist the community with establishing accounts, consumer and real estate lending, retirement and investment planning and more,” Harwell said. “More importantly, we are here to build lasting relationships and educate our membership on the benefits of being a member of the credit union - a cooperative of people helping people.”

Harwell began his career with Heritage Trust in 2006 as a Member Service Representative. He later joined the Home and Real Estate Lending team as a Mortgage Specialist and Loan Officer to better assist members with their home loan needs.

In October of 2013, Harwell was offered the management position at the Moncks Corner branch.

“Clarence is able to provide a personal level of customer service because of his close ties to the community in which he serves,” said Jim McDaniel, CEO of Heritage Trust. “He does not only possess the necessary skills to manage a branch, but he knows the importance of treating each individual with respect.”

Aside from serving members from within his branch’s building, Harwell is also active in the community as a member of the local Kiwanis chapter and Berkeley Chamber of Commerce.
