The JROTC Department will also conduct its Annual Awards Day Ceremony on April 30 at 9 a.m. in the multi-purpose room, and everyone is invited to be present and show their support.
Womenís Baptist Convention
The Annual Session of the Womanís Baptist E & M Convention will be held June 9 to 13. The session will be conducted at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in North Charleston, with the Rev. Larry Goss as host pastor.
Pre-registration for the session will close on May 1. Any registrations received after May 1 will be considered on-site. Any questions concerning registration can be answered by calling Alice Graham at (803) 603-5655 or email email@example.com.
Hotel Accommodations are available at the Inn Place, 4770 Goer Dr., North Charleston, (843) 747-1900. The deadline for hotel reservations is May 10. The banquet for the session will be June 12, at 7 p.m., at the Embassy Suites Charleston Convention Center in North Charleston. Tickets may be secured for a $40 donation. The deadline for securing tickets is also May 10.
Registration may also be completed at www.wbemc.org. Mrs. Audrey P. Neal serves as President of the Womanís Baptist E & M Convention, and Ms. Lillie Whitten serves as President of the Antioch Baptist Associationís Womenís Auxiliary.
Zetaís Walk for Babies
Moncks Cornerís Chapter members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. (Kappa Alpha Zeta) will support the March of Dimesí March for Babies on April 26 in Charleston.
The walk is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at the Cannon Park, 261 Calhoun Street. It promises to be a fun day out with people who share the passion for improving the health of babies. Thereíll be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends. Itís a great feeling knowing weíre all helping real families.
Join the Chapter member and walk with them to raise money for babies right here in our community.
