The following incidents were obtained from Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office reports:



A burglary that had occurred sometime during the night was reported at a St. Stephen residence on March 25. The victim said someone pried open the side window of his garage and entered. While inside the subject stole a bow saw valued at $400 and a generator valued at $1,000. A second victim had his 2000 LT Suzuki ATV stolen. The ATV is yellow and is valued at $1,700. The incident occurred of U.S.-52.



A deputy responded to Horseshoe Road near Moncks Corner at about 6:40 p.m. on March 25. That’s when a man said a suspect assaulted him. The victim said while he was walking his dog the subject’s son initiated a verbal altercation with him. The subject then exited his residence, approached the victim and began using profane language toward him. As the victim was walking away the subject shoved him in his back. the deputy spoke to the subject who said they exchanged words. The subject said the victim made a furtive motion toward him at which time he shoved him out of reflex, he said. The incident occurred on Dusty Lane.



A deputy responded to Russellville Road near St. Stephen on March 23. That’s when a man said his car had been broken into at the men’s social club. When the victim returned to his car he found and unknown subject had unlawfully entered his car via an unlocked door. The subject took about $223 cash from the victim’s wallet and stole an Apple iPad. The seven-inch tablet is valued at $350. It was taken out of a the box by the perpetrator. The deputy took the box into evidence and for fingerprinting.
