Photo Provided Deacon and Mrs. Jackie Pinckney.

Family, friends and church members joined together on March 16 in the Day Dawn Baptist Church Hall to celebrate the life and contributions of Deacon Jackie Pinckney.

He was paid tribute by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, friends and church members. There were warm remarks, songs of praise from his children, siblings and combined church choirs (Deacon Pinckney lends his soulful voice to both the Gospel and Menís Choirs). Needless to say, the program was emotional, and joyful.
