Legislator Appreciation Day
Recently, a number of Timberland High School Education students attended the South Carolina FFA sponsored State Legislators’ Appreciation in Columbia.
The students, accompanied by Ronnie Ford, Agricultural Education Instructor and FFA Advisor at THS, began the day by visiting with State Sen. J. Yancey McGill and Rep. Joseph H. Jefferson Jr. to thank them for their support of Agricultural Education.
They were introduced to the members of the House of Representatives while it was in session by Rep. Jefferson.
Sister Jannie F. McConnell will deliver her initial sermon on Sunday, April 13 at 4 p.m. at Wesley AME in Shulerville. The church invites you to participate in this special event. For more information, contact the Rev. Nathalee M. Nelson at 257-4065 or 303-2609.
