East Cooper Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit, non-denominational Christian housing organization, will host its fifth annual “Golf Tees to House Keys” benefit golf outing May 13. The event will give players the opportunity to play the prestigious Daniel Island Club Beresford Creek Course, while helping to eliminate poverty housing in the area.
“Golf Tees to House Keys” will benefit East Cooper Habitat for Humanity and is an 18-hole shamble format. The entry fee is $225 per player or $850 per team. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Registration begins at 11 a.m. Lunch follows at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A cocktail reception and silent auction will be held at 6 p.m. Team prizes will be awarded for low net and low gross. There will also be longest drive, closest to the pin, and putting contests, and a major hole-in-one prize. Entry forms may be downloaded at www.eastcooperhabitat.org, and questions should be directed to Christine Pinson at 843-881-2600 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
