The Charleston County School of the Arts (SOA) Vocal Department hosted a kids' winter vocal camp March 7 and 8 featuring beloved songs from 2013's hit animated Disney film “Frozen” with a free performance open to the public at the end of camp. The camp was quite a success, sold out with 100 children, and the department had to turn many away.
The SOA Vocal Department has decided to host a second camp on March 28 and 29 to allow more participants to join in the fun. Grades Kindergarten through 8th will learn to sing songs from “Frozen” along with movement and dance, enjoy a snack and create their own costume. The camp runs Friday, March 28 from 6–8:30 p.m., with check-in beginning at 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 29 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m.). Children will remain until the 2 p.m. performance and be provided with a pizza lunch.
The cost is $75. Purchase tickets at www.soavocal.com under Tickets, or for inquiries, call or email Rebekah King at 843-469-5292 or email@example.com. Space is limited to 100 participants.
