Students taken to hospital following school bus wreck

More than a dozen elementary and middle school students were injured in a school bus crash in Bonneau Monday morning.

Berkeley County School District Spokesperson Susan Haire said the injuries were not serious and the students received medical attention as a precaution.

Forty-five students from Macedonia Middle and Bonner Elementary were on the stopped bus when a truck ran into the back of the bus.
