Dan Brown/Independent Lucas Carr picked up the Wolves’ first win of the season with a strong relief outing. For more THS baseball action, see Sports.

The following incidents were obtained from Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A golf cart was stolen after a break-in on South Live Oak Drive near Moncks Corner the night of March 1. The complainant said persons unknown entered the business and pulled up five fence posts. Once inside a black, $2,000 golf cart was stolen. The cart was cabled to the main office building with a steel cable that ran through the petal posts attaching the roof to the seats and cart body.

The burglar apparently got on the cart and drove it fast enough to snap its roof off. The deputy observed the golf cart roof and back seats lying on the ground. The golf cart was then believed to be driven through the opening in the fence.

A neighbor to the business said a subject approached him on March 2 at about Noon asking if he wanted to buy liquor or a golf cart. The subject was driving a black golf cart with no roof. The neighbor became suspicious and told the subject to leave. He went to business and asked if they were missing any golf carts. The descriptions match, although the neighbor was unable to provide a physical description of the subject.

• The morning of Feb. 28 a man reported his vehicle stolen in Cross. The victim said the vehicle was parked in his driveway over night. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside. The vehicle is valued at $3,500.

• A deputy was called to Mountain Pine Road on March 1 in regard to a found object. Near the intersection of Mountain Pine and South Live Oak Drive, the deputy found a compressor that had fallen off a vehicle and gouged the road. The compressor was on its side and leaking oil. A local fire department was called to clean up the oil. A towing company stopped to render assistance in removing the compressor from the road. The compressor is an Ingersoll Rand model T-30.
