Photo Provided The Berkeley High School Vocal Ensemble earned a top rating of Superior at the 2014 SCMEA Solo and Ensemble Festival in Charleston on Feb. 15. This event represents the first adjudicated performance by a choir from BHS in many years and is a major achievement for the program. The judge specifically complimented the ensemble on the quality and beauty of their performance. The Vocal Ensemble is the most advanced group in the Berkeley Choirs program. Its membership consists of students in 10th through 12th grades. Members of the group routinely participate in ACDA Honor Choirs and Berkeley County All-County Chorus.
