A total of 182 people attended the Wildlife Banquet that Oak Grove PH Church held on Feb. 7.
The event featured a large variety of foods including venison chili, meatloaf, roast and sausage, fried venison, bacon wrapped venison and dove, grilled quail, grilled alligator sausage, raccoon, frog legs, fried catfish nuggets, barbecued wild boar, catfish stew and more.
Clebe McCary, a motivational speaker and a Vietnam veteran, delivered the message.
Several people rededicated their lives to Christ.
Everyone had an awesome time is looking forward to having it again next year. Thanks to everyone who made it such a success. If you missed it this year, look for it next year around this time next year. You won’t be disappointed.
Hood’s Chapel UM church will hold a rummage sale on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will be outside and inside. They will also be selling food. Come out and help them raise money for a new roof for the church.
Hickory Grove PH Church will be having a barbeque dinner fundraiser to help build a church in their mission field.
Happy Birthday to my daughter Tracy Craven (Feb. 14). Also, my grandsons Christopher O’Quinn (Feb 14) and Matthew O’Quinn Feb 28).
