School banquet focuses on reading

  • Wednesday, February 12, 2014

Bonner Elementary School held an “I love to Read Banquet” on Feb. 6.

The event is a major community/school program that allows parents and teachers to work together for the good of the students. The keynote speaker was Dr. Linda Karges-Bone, a nationally known best selling author and expert on brain-based teaching and learning that focuses on training needs.

Dr. Karges - Bone talked about ways to “make your children smarter” with an emphasis on brain development.

Also, the Bonner Chorus performed, and dinner was served with the faculty serving the community.
